The family of British tech entrepreneur Mike Lynch and his daughter Hannah, who tragically lost their lives when their yacht sank off the coast of Sicily on Monday, has expressed their profound shock and grief. In a statement released on Friday following the recovery of the final body, believed to be that of 18-year-old Hannah, the family described their pain as "unspeakable.

"Their thoughts are with everyone affected by the tragedy," the family said, extending their gratitude to the Italian coastguard, emergency services, and all those involved in the rescue efforts.

The sinking, which also claimed the lives of five other individuals aboard the yacht, is currently under investigation by Italian officials.

Latymer Upper School, where Hannah had recently been a student, expressed their shock and sympathy. "We are all incredibly shocked by the news," a spokesperson said. "Our thoughts are with their family and everyone involved.
